Last week you may have seen my post about another blog, My Side Hustle. I enjoyed collaborating on that so much that I might make this a regular thing so long as I can find someone to do it often enough. This week, I’ve got a blog with an interesting niche, Mini Golf Reviews. Mister Mini Golf runs this blog, and every post is on a different hole at a mini golf course.

An Interview with Mister Mini Golf

Mister Mini Golf was was kind enough to answer a few questions for me on his blog. Let’s get right to it.

1. How long has your blog been up and running?

Launched in October 2017 (2 months) but started in April. I didn’t really know what I was getting myself into so I developed a plan and got a ton of content. Then I dedicated my time to maintain and produce content regularly to provide consistent reads. Now here I stand today!

2. What inspired you to create your blog?

I have always had a passion for Mini Golf and want to own my own Mini Golf business someday. I don’t have the assets to make that a reality yet so I wanted to catalog what I love about about Mini Golf and share my passion with the world. Basically I want to become the expert on the subject, when people think Mini Golf I want them to think of MiniGolfReviews.com.

3. What’s one thing that you didn’t know about blogging that you do now?

I never realized what a great community bloggers are, they are always willing to provide feedback, shares, and continuous support.

4. What is your favorite post so far? One that was fun to write or that you just really liked creating.

It is really hard to choose just one really but I particularly like the Tee-Aire post because that is the best course near me, it is so much fun! Here is the post on that one: http://minigolfreviews.com/2017/07/18/tee-aire-miniature-golf/

5. What’s you favorite Mini Golf course of all time?

Hmmm of all time…that’s a good question. There used to be a great indoor course back in Illinois that closed years ago. It was American Landmark themed and had good play/novelty. My father also played it as a kid too which was pretty cool. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to find any photos just have the hole layouts in my mind.

6. Who is your favorite big guy?

I am a pretty big fan of WWE and win tickets on the radio to sit ringside when they are in Milwaukee. I have yet to see him in person, but Kane is an awesome big guy and someday I hope to see him at a show!

Big Guy on Mini Golf

Mini golf is for Big Guys. You get to have fun playing 18 holes of golf, but you don’t have to walk 8 miles to get it done. I really like when there are tricks to the hole or things that you find different if you play a course multiple times. A lot of the courses I’ve played even have a special hole at the end where you can win a free game. I’ve only done this once, but it was a really exciting experience for me!
